ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

The Utah Triple Crank award recognizes those who successfully finish the Huntsman SportsFest, Iron Lung Ride, and LoToJa all in the same year! That’s almost 450 miles! Are you ready to test your mettle?

June 8: The Huntsman SportsFest Ride, formerly called the Huntsman 140, is a road cycling fundraising ride with 100% of all proceeds fueling the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute. This single-day ride, is fully supported, has multiple distance options, with two that feature the 140-mile ride routes that are the qualifiers for the Utah Triple Crank.

July 20: Iron Lung Ride is a challenging 100-mile out-and-back ride starting and finishing in Ogden Valley (Huntsville). The course features a solid climb up Old Snowbasin Road, down Trappers Loop, through Morgan County and out to the top of Big Mountain for the turn around. Mixed in with the challenging climbing are plenty of rollers and flats to recover.

September 7: LoToJa is a 200-plus mile point-to-point one-day road race starting in Logan, Utah and finishing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the shadows of the Tetons. Known as the longest one-day race sanctioned by USA Cycling, its incredibly scenic course includes three mountain passes and rolling terrain that results in nearly 10,000 feet of climbing.

“Winning isn’t about finishing in first place. It isn’t about beating the others. It is about overcoming yourself. Overcoming your body, your limitations, and your fears. Winning means surpassing yourself and turning your dreams into reality.”
